Okay, my programming friends. by Didactylos 2005-05-07 12:13:08
I'm looking for some best practice guides, in two areas: active web page development, and database abstraction objects. Both areas are (IMO) exceedingly tedious and error prone, and I just can't be having with it. Too much cut and paste, too much inefficiency. Someone must have worked out the best way, surely?

Loads of people do this stuff, so share the fountain of knowledge.... please. I don't care what platform/technology is refered to, but I'm currently neck deep in ASP.NET/MSSQL. *waves legs in the air pathetically*

My problem is I rarely need the conventional approach - and I don't this time, either.

Thanks all.
