(Machine translation with some (an awful lot of) guesswork from me)
Over the years, we at The Register have received many complaints, verbal abuses and threats concerning our policy of publishing articles in British (i.e. real) English. Nevertheless, after an almost bloodless coup, our politics (and also our management) changed, and we now have a change in attitude with reference to suggestions of our readers urging us to "speek ammerican!". Nevertheless we did not consider American ideal on account of our audience. Instead we felt, because of the international character of the Internet, we to must adopt some equally worldwide language. Therefore, a universal edition of The Register was conceived.
For the time being only some of the articles will be written in Esperanto as a trial, but soon our employees will be reeducated sufficiently for us to expand this service. After the expected sucess of the beta version, we will discontinue all services in the English language at The Register, which after that will be known as "La Registro". We know that you will welcome this change. All glory deserved to the New Administration! |
