this is setting precident for how whatever's happening in Guantanamo (and I think it's fair to say something is happening, whether this extreme or not) will be treated. Or any other potential future situation. As to the other post's comment about it not being murder (must head to bed quickly, therefore make one post), I am under the impression this person could have gotten 15 year max for the actions he did. Presumably if there had been murders that max and the min (if there is one) would have increased (25 to life sound about right for most states?). Just how I read it though - perhaps 15 years is actually the maximum military term.
