soemthing went odd in the middle of a raid resync and a drive dropped, won't read anymore.

*sigh* didn't really lose any data, but it'll be a pain in the arse reading it all back in from DVD-R.

I'm probably going to yoink a 60Gig drive I heard was spare and hook that up to the motherboard controller (for some reason the linux box absolutely hates the promise ultra133 controller from time to time) it's a bit of a loss in space (from 80Gig on the raid) but it'll likely be a heck of a lot more reliable. (and bring the HD count in the linux box down to three
