Assuming for a minute this was all Graner's doing the C.O. had no direct knowledge of the events (and may not have anyway if spooks were involved) She recieved the worst punishment a Commander could get under the circumstances. It is no career setback it is a career ender. I witnessed a unit get 37 convictions for drug use and one for dealing and use. The commander, who was unaware of the goings on, got his career ended as well. He finished his time as a clerk and left the service.
