| Could you throw it in the face of their VP of sales? He's the dirtbag-in-chief. I actually showed the proposal to their head project manager (whom I'm on a buisiness trip with as we speak) and he's pissed too. He's threatening to quit if they use someone else. I said: "Hey, how come $My_Company isn't mentioned by name in the proposal when everyone else is?" "You are, I saw it." "No we're not, come look." "You were in the version I saw of it." "Well, we're not now. $Scumball_VP's going to shop my price, isn't he?" "He better not!" Etc. Etc. Etc. But he agrees, that is likely what's going to happen. What kind of fair is that? I do all of it for them in a week, and the other guys will get a month to look at my engineering design plan and figure out if they can do it for less. |
