I spent counting ammo, getting people to load the trucks, count some more ammo, getting confirmation on the count from administration, count the ammo again. Yes, lots and lots of counting.
The fun bits were worth it though. Driving around the firerange on a sunday (no shooting allowed) and seeing all the unexploded stuff just lying around, and the amount of wildlife there was just amazing. I'd expected no animals whatsoever, but I was wrong. The stories told by the explosives experts were also a lot of fun. |
