of ranking everything, and making the lowest rank get one 'vote', the second-lowest two, and so on. But the "this bloke" and "not this bloke" columns, as suggested by Nut, are probably easier for Joe "Durrr, I want to get back watch FOOTBALL" Bloggs to understand. And should help solve the same "person who less than 50% of people voted for wins" syndrome.
