the part about the law being flaunted (not the rest), I don't buy it. They made no mention that marijuana related arrests have increased compared to past marijuana arrests. They only said that marijuana arrests comprise 40% of all drug related arrests. And that this percentage, in relation to other drugs, is higher than it has been in the past. This tells me that the percentage of people who are flaunting less serious laws has increased. People are shying away from the harder drugs and sticking with the least offensive one. And it leaves me with the impression that this is an overall improvement.
