If you look at the CCC list, not a single Toyota is even listed. If you ask me, that's the more accurate list.
If you have 15000 Saturn SLs, and 500000 Toyota Camrys, and 10000 of those Saturns get stolen, while 50000 Camrys are stolen, then the Camry will get listed higher than the SL on the NICB list. However, that's 66% of the SLs that get stolen, while there are only 10% of the Camrys stolen.
Which one is the more popular theft? Certainly not the one on the top of the NICB list. It's the owners of the ones on the CCC list who have to worry.
