One of my favorite local ones is Joseph Schmidt (shops in SF and SJ). Not cheap, but not too bad. And I'm always in awe over their chocolate sculptures. Of course, that being said, I still ordered some chocolate from Europe a few days ago. And yes, the price was very silly, which is why I don't do it often.
