He's just one man; if Congress (which is also horribly undemocratic, but still more representative than the president) passes the bill, then he has no business blocking it.
Also, he only represents 30% of the people, misrepresents 29%, and the rest just don't care. So he's right to let Congress do it's job; however badly they do it, he can't do it better than they do. |
