Dear sir,
We were planning on using around $450,000 worth of one of your parts per year. Unfortunatly it's not RoHS compliant (there is lead in the solder on the part) and so I will be designing it out by the end of the year unless you do something about this very quickly.

Someone who's already got a poor opinion of your company.


That makes it two companies I've said something like that to in 2 days. I wonder if I can do one a day for the rest of the week.
We may not have the leverage of some of the mass market manufacturers but 1/2 a million in revenue is normally enough to get their attention.
