but I did take tetracycline for acne. However, that was back in the days before people were concerned about giving antibiotics (for breeding superbacteria). Acne is bacteria-related. They aren't making that up. as far as long-term effects on me personally from my several years of tetracyline taking... I'm fine now and I've never really had major problems/illnesses as an adult (with the occasional bout of Lyme disease, but that's from a tick bite).
