Antibiotics for acne? by oot2005-05-04 09:26:58
  I was given something starting with a D once by PsychoI3oy 2005-05-04 09:35:07
for something not acne related (sinus infection? bronchitis?) and it had the really nice side effect of clearing up my acne for the 2 weeks I was on it.

Doxycycline. (had to google for it) Oh, it's apparently Tetracycline related. darn.

Well, all I know is they gave me that when I asked for something other than sulphamethoxazole cause the last time I was on that stuff I had 2 minor car incidents within the space of a week, pulling into or out of parking spaces. The paperwork for sulpha stuff says to not drive if you're dizzy, but I wasn't dizzy. Oops.

oh well. I hope accutane works for you and doesn't have any bad side effects.
