Someone on here a few weeks ago was asking about good facial moisturizers. A bunch of people, to my horror, recommended things like Vasiline Intensive Care (not on your face - eep!). I, however, could not make a recommendation in its place since I had just switched to a new moisturizer (my old one is out of production, that's what happens when you only buy them once in a blue moon) and didn't know if it was good or not.
Since then, however, I have used this one almost daily (still have some of my old one left that I was working on and if I don't dry out my face with my face wash, then I don't bother. I'm a very low-maintenance person in general) and I highly recommend it. It is Garnier "Fresh 24hr Hydrating Day Cream" (what a lame name!). It doesn't have SPF (but perhaps the pink version for sensitive skin does?) but it's very light, I only need a little (about half the size of a dime, if that makes sense to you), and very moisturizing. Plus, I like the smell (you may not - might want to check first). It cost about $10 for 75 ml, which I thought was expensive at the time but after having used it for 2 weeks or so, it still looks completely full, so perhaps it is a decent deal just because you need so little of it.
Whatever you buy (or have bought), make sure that the first ingredient is water/eau (if they want to sound fancy, they use the French). That's how you know you're getting the good stuff and that it shouldn't clog up your pores and such. |
