Karen Dubinsky is one of the gods of Canadian history, especially Canadian women's history, and she did a presentation on the new book she's working on at the conference I was at last weekend.
Since then, I've had a question about her presentation. Last night, I sent her an email with this question, hoping to find an answer. She says it's a "really interesting question which I'd not thought about before" and "an excellent and thought-provoking question". Unfortunately, she doesn't know the answer yet but she's going to ask a friend who may.
Still, I am pleased that, based on the rest of the email, I have impressed a god :)
I still want to know the answer though ... I hope she didn't think I was "fan girl"-ing her. |
