My new Toy! by hieraco 2005-05-03 17:32:25
Well I went to the Hobby shop today to buy an R/C airplane to play with now that the weather is nice. While I was there talking to the sales clerk (very helpful chap if somewhat loud), he mentioned that they had computer training packages that use the remote control to accurately run the flights. The planes in the program are programmed with an exceptional degree of detail right down to having the wings shear off if you push it beyond the specs. Also the program will add variable damage from Slight scratches to >PWANG< if you bring it in too rough.

I thought that this was too good to pass up seeing as I have never flowen R/C before. (not counting the cox line control planes as a kid) so now when I have those rough landings I don't have to worry too much about $$$ for repairs.

The kit comes with a controler which will control the actual plane when I graduate from the computer sims.

/me is happy now.
