or nuthin' but that's what the local comedy club (Laffs) does... you WIN! thirty ... yeah, same exact mumber - wierd huh? tickets... to a specific show/date/time... with a two drink minumum... CALL YOUR FRIENDS! Then everyone who goes with you and signs up for the "drawing" wins - you guessed it, thirty tickets! - to a different show/date/time... with a two drink minumum... not that I'm complaining - we go for free 2-3 times a year. And an old high school buddy who teaches English at a University north of here is an aspiring comedian - he'll open for some of the regional/National acts that come through town... so we try to "win" when he's gonna be in town. The cover for those NOT going on free tickets is pretty steep... Have fun! (but expect more calls from the comedy club)
