Trying to puzzle out how to script something by romandas 2005-05-03 16:39:26
without resorting to my "Learning Perl" book.

I know there's a way to do this with commandline tools (in Linux) but I haven't figured it out yet.

Just trying to take a file that contains a list of words, one per line, and grep that word in another file to see if it shows up. Repeating for each word.

I'm sure a foreach would do it in Perl.. but I'm using this as practice for the text utils and stuff.
