that may explain this. It was a teorhy taht if the frist and lsat lrettes are wrehe tehy are sppuosed to be you can sitll raed it. Our biarns fguire it out. Perhaps people accustomed to a particular spelling have been socialized to recognize Frasier (the TV show in the US) or Fraser (as in the Fraser River in BC). This would enable them to unconsciously change the spelling while writing it out - even while hearing you spell it correctly.
