What's for lunch/dinner/breakfast/snack? by Spud312005-05-03 09:53:23
  Breakfast=0. Lunch=vegetable soup. by kelli217 2005-05-03 12:41:13
Dinner will be one of four possibilities, details herein:
  • Spaghetti:
    My own special sauce blend featuring premade sauce as a base and adding diced tomatoes and mushrooms for chunkiness, over standard spaghetti pasta (no vermicelli or capellini for me).
  • Chicken soup:
    Egg noodles, canned chicken broth, and canned chunks of chicken, plus added spices including lemon pepper, celery salt, dried onions, garlic salt, poultry seasoning (a popular mix of spices sold in a single tin: rosemary, sage, and thyme), and a tiny bit of Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce.
  • Ravioli:
    Boiardi from a can. Nothing special added to it. This is cheap, easy, and fast, for if I don't feel like cooking when I get home.
  • Hot dogs:
    Bar S Jumbo Jumbos. These are the most monstrous weiners you ever saw, with the possible exception of Fischer's Grillers. They're bun-length and about a quarter pound. This is "big food," in reserve for the fairly commonplace event that soup for lunch leaves me with a big appetite by the time dinner rolls around.
