- Ensure sufficient t-shirts, shorts, trousers and jumpers.
- Check whether digicam charger works at the funny voltages over there.
- Check laptop charger for the same.
- Ditto any other electrics/electronics you want to take.
- Acquire NEMA 1-15 or NEMA 5-15 to BS 1363 adapter*

Other than that - have a great time!
When do you get back, and whereabouts in the States are you going?
