That sounds more familiar. I was going to mention it as yet another manageent buzzword (along the likes of "paradigm shift"). You see it being bandied about in the service industry more now, particularly in call centers.

I dunno...when you're dealing more with machines, an absurdly low error rate is more plausible. The more of a human touch there is, the more the Six Sigma concept sounds like another reason to hire expensive consultants to make it LOOK like management is "doing something."
