meaning for decades, and life just sucks sometimes. Also, most of the "I don't want to DO anything with it." type of information thief wish to adjust the definition that way also. Me personally, the only thing I ever want adjusted for those types is to tighten their handcuffs. Those are the people screaming loudest about "hacker" being "misapplied" from what I've seen and heard. I'm not saying either of you two are in that group (I don't think so, and I devoutly hope I'm right), it's just that it's usual to hear "I'm not a cracker, I'm a HACKER!" followed by BS like "Information wants to be free!". Interesting that "Information" has yet to express any of its wishes to me...
