It really only hurt when I got 3-4 novacaine shots in the gum. :( Once numb, the oral surgeon spent less than 2 minutes removing/plulling it. Packed a piece of gauze on it and said to keep mouth closed for ~1 hour. I repacked it ~2 hours later and that was about all the bleeding it did. Ok, I still taste a little. But really no pain, so I really don't need the rest of my script of vicodin. Hmmm.... Reminds me to take my antibiotic. Must avoid infection! :)
