Indeed, WHAT is going on ?
Are they preparing to adopt the Euro ? (because in the conversion of X currenncies to the Euro, those govts agreed on one simple rounding scheme. I thought it was a pity they didn't agree to the "round to even" approach for the half-cent endings, but I don't worry: round to closest integer cent, down untill .49999999999 and up from .5 on, looks consistent AND simple to me.
But you're talking "pennies" so that must be hundreths of a pound-sterling ...
