Since I've got nearly as much knowledge about Australia from PTerry's discworld books about XXXX than from reality (unfortunately it's too far away: about literally at the other end of the world) :-(
is the last remark just sarcasm, asking whether Pitr assigned his "code" to a typical Aussie name ("Bruce"), or is there more behind it? Some "in-joke" I just don't know?
