Something needs to be done with all this spam. by Khaar 2005-05-03 00:57:49
This morning Outlook showed a new mail alert with the following summary:

Sender: [Uknown female name]
Subject: [Funny looking subject]
Body: Hi [Khaar's first name] I have made some chance in [...] web-page...

Yup, straight to "Deleted Items" it went. There are far too many of those emails anyway.

Now here's the "juicy" part. This particular email was a perfectly legit message from one of our clients abroad. I had a second look at it because something caught my attention just when I pressed the delete button.

I already had to fish one mail out of deleted items last week and I don't even want to know how many others I deleted.

But the bottom line is that if I don't know a person, we're not on first name basis and therefore that's mister [Khaar's last name]!
