Okay.. reading man routed right now and it is giving me really great ideas. We aren't going to use rip but I can turn that off and routed will act just as a router discovery deamon. I am going to get this working locally tommorow and see if I can get it working for real. Looks like I just have to edit my /etc/gateways file and start routed. I will post more in my diary as I get this going. Proibly still gonna need some help =).
