| Clearly, if there was any specific evidence, that would be the topic of all of the lawsuits....since there is none, of course it cannot be mentioned legally, or in the media.
As I was reading through the comments, there seems to be a lot of comments directed towards the religious nuts (which I am not). I know people in the christian faith tend to be a little (and sometimes a lot) psyco in their beliefs (and pressing them on others, which is wrong).
I do not know of one parent that would put their child through that much pain living a life as Terri does, unless there was a deeper reason.. and I do not believe "religious nutjob" is quite enough of an explaination. My daughter attends a christian school, and the one thing they are taught is that choosing to place a human on life support is againt God's will, so the right-to-life doesn't really apply here.
I for one would never handle the situation as these parents did. I would never want to be on life support, nor would I choose that for my mom, or my kids.
I am sorry if I offended you. That was not my intent. It just seems that everyone has gotten wrapped up in the hype, without knowing the history behind it. If you read the timeline, what other conclusion is there to come to?
