Linux, Sound and My Sanity(or what little is left) by Da_Pineapple 2005-03-26 19:47:46
Ok, so I've been on Slackware 10.1 for a bit now, and I would like to be able to access certain streams that I was able to listen to while in windows.
I am able to get the playlist file loaded in XMMS, but when I hit play, it tells me to make sure that my soundcard is properly configured, to make sure that nothing else is trying to use or blocking my soundcard, and that I'm using the right plugin. Since I'm still a quite wet-behind-the-ears Linux n00b, I have no idea how to do any of this.

A little help, please?

TIA.
