to individual rights. Again, the Bill of Rights is limited government conrol over citizens. A well regulated militia means IIRC, refers to local state/county militias. The US did not have a National Militia like we do today. Well regulated means well equiped to defend and protect citizens from harm like forein powers... The right of the people means like I said exactly that. To defend against government tyrrany. Good question though, but well regulated militia and the right of the people are two diferent matters. Perhaps that is why they were addressed separatly in the same amendment. BTW, just because something seems logical does not mean it to be truth
