| ...that it has to do with how they (religious conservatives) see human life. Their faith teaches them that life is a gift given by God, and as such you should treasure it and not rebuke His gift to us.
I more or less understand this point of view, even if I vehemently disagree with anything getting in the way of someone choosing to end their own life because of loss of dignity. What I really despise is the section of hypocrites in that group that are against people taking their own lives, but are for the execution of people convicted of violent crimes. Turns my stomach. |
