Personally, I'm still a little undecided. It was enjoyable enough, and the pacing was more 21st century than the last Who outings. However, the short, short episode didn't really leave any room for development - character or story.
Shiny effects, but not as polished as I might have expected. A little too shiny, to be blunt. But then I suppose low-budget CGI is the 21st century answer to wobbly sets :-S
