Average it out and throw everythign in warm.

Batchlor style laundry. Actualy I was colours in warm water. Now days most colours have quality dyes that do not fade as badly as in the 60's and 70's when these `rules' were adapted. and if in doubt you have two choices, both equaly good.

1) Read the label (domestic versionof RTFM)
2) give it to your mom to wash.
