I would guess that in order to get much more capacity, you'd have to do a fair amount of beefing things up on the vehicle structure, suspension, and hydraulic/electrical capacity. Hanging 600 pounds, plus the weight of the lift off the side of a vehicle probably puts a pretty good strain on the whole affair.
