it probably has computer controls. look for a box with an eprom in it. with lots and lots of wires going in to it from the engine compartment.

before 1979 you have to get aftermarket car parts.
switching from a distributor to a computer controled electronic ignition system and a computer controled fuel system.
Which would also mean rewireing your car.(Think of it as adding a lot of extra hardrives to a scsi raid array.)
