Not sure what point you're trying to make here. If you're claiming that availability of guns skews this likelihood toward being killed by a loved one, please support that claim with hard facts. Apropos, I should point out that women have been known to use armed force to defend themselves and/or their children against abusive spouses and boyfriends, though I have no statistics handy as to how often.
