the FN-FAL is a 7.62X51 NATO battle rifle. (yeah that's the term you were looking for on the H&K) No .22 Caliber conversion was ever offered for one, nor was one ever offered for it's little brother the 5.55X45 FN-FNC Assault Rifle. However that particular weapon never saw sevice in Canada.

.22 Caliber conversions are available for the C7 but a "master marksman" such as yourself would know the difference between the two I'm sure.
