Well. You know what I mean.

There is a term used on this board for people who threaten to pack their keyboards and leave if others don't agree with their tastes and opinions.

I sympathize with and appreciate the job mods have to do, especially when petty bickering breaks out, but I'm not sure that restricting a topic in this manner would set a precedent that would be in the board's best interests. If a TLP is clearly labelled as to its topic (in a case where it might be controversial), that should be enough.

I, for one, was bored to tears with the liberal/conservative bickering during the US election, but so what? I just started scrolling past it. Allowing people who find a given topic distasteful or boring the power of censorship is not a good idea.
