And I'm altogether glad that my country doesn't have the gun problem. The parangs (something like swords) are bad enough as it is. From my perspective, though, owning a gun doesn't make me feel safer. It just makes me feel like the world is more dangerous than it really is, and that I'd need to get more guns to feel safer.
