our ferrets don't have free run of the house, but they have a room. They are both rescues. One (Bitewald) is a biter. Someone was able to work with him and get him to mostly stop, but I can't trust him enough (after he opened up my back), and he's "nippy". He'll break the skin easily, and not let go. The other ferret, Trelane, is a sweetie, and I'd let him sleep in my bed, if my spouse would let me. I think Bitewald had some neglect issues from his previous owner and that made him ornery. I've had Trelane since he was 12 weeks old.
Bitewald also won't use the litter box consistently. |
