I don't like gun threads. I find them boring, I find them argumentative, I find them repetitive. They make it difficult to do my "job" here because I really, really don't want to read them.
That being said, I don't believe in topic restrictions (as long as the rules aren't being broken). I can wish they would be held in one or two threads a day, but I also don't think limits should be placed on the number of any type of thread. (Why is it any other repeating topic gets labeled as "ringing", but gun threads don't?)
Thus the only reasonable thing I can advocate is that if you don't want to see such a high percentage of gun threads on the board, post something else to talk about. The world is rife with other topics. |
