Not even a call to remove specific topics, guns in this case.
But a call to clearly distinguish between attach-more-blinkenlichten-to-my-gun-geekery and discussion of serious gun-related topics. And a call not flood the board with gun related topics (yeah, I'm guilty of that too, today, I know).
And above all, honestly, it was an expression of my annoyance with that. I just get sick if threads about gun related incidents mutate into a technical discussion about fire modes, scopes, the accuracy of the killer, whatever.
I could give examples of other topics where this would be deemed bad by a vast majority of posters here, but I think it's better to leave it at that. |
