first off let me say that i fully advocate the beating of those who advocate corporal/capital punishment until they agree that it's wrong, and the gagging of those who oppose free speech for all.
now, with a note of levity in a seriosu discussion,
this is a forum, and a community, of geeks. now, geeks are well known to like to tinker with things, especially mechanical and complex things. guns fall under that pervue. wether or not you think the purpose of guns is good or bad, remember that some geeks won't like you "avoiding reality" in ad&d or WoW, and others won't like other things.
the key is to remember to be respectful of others. that means posting apt subject lines so that an anti-marshmallow person won't have to see pics of peeps, or read comments on it. that also means respecting the opinions of others, and their right to those opinions, even if they like mac's or pepsi. |
