Experience is such a broad word. Ya, I have shot them on occation. Mostly they were used with the .22 insert for target shooting at the inside range. I fired them on occation outside. It was NEVER my service rifle and had been discontinued from use long before I ever got my hands on one. That being said it is one of my fav rifles to shoot. I still laugh when I think of the sound that spring makes in your ear when you fire a C7.
