I just paid $100 for a year's membership to Yahoo Personals, just because I wanted to email a lady. I mean, this lady - wow. Just wow. She matches me closely in preferences, even politically. Think about that for a moment. And she's CLOSE to me. 10 min drive. Now, nothing might happen, but even if there is a chance, I thought it was worth the money. I might be stupid, but I sent her a LONG email just now. Hopefully she won't think to herself something about crazy people and delete it.
My divorce isn't final for 2 months more, but I might end up dating anyway if this turns out well. I just hope she isn't a picky dater. ;)
And who knows, I might end up working out again if I had the proper motivation.
I could have paid $20 for a month, but the year's fee is $8+ per month, and is the premium membership instead of the standard one - they are running a special where the year membership gives you the premium one (which normally costs $200). |
