crazy isn't necessarily apt.
keep in mind that there are a number of very seemingly sound people who do not believe that man kind ever went to the moon, that the sun revolves around the earth, that the earth is flat, or that evolution is a hoax. there is very solid scientific evidence for all of these beleifs to be called crazy by rational people, but that doesn't mean that those beleifs are wrong for the person involved.
granted, she's apparently delusional, but that does not equate to dangerous, although it can not exclude that. if i were in your shoes, i'd definately speak to a religious leader about her, and ask if they can speak to her in a supportive manner, and see if there is anythign they can do to help her w/o stressing her and making her more paraniod. |
