If I am in posession of a sear for an M16A2 I am in violation of the law.

As for your observations of the AR15.com site bear in mind that:
One: We have this little thing called the Second Ammendment.
Two: Some people have taken the time to learn what it really means.
Three: Like those who stood on the green at Lexington, they will take a stand for what they believe in.

I have gone cold turkey for longer than two weeks. Was a rather fun vacation.
